CALENDAR OF EVENTS The Virginia Peninsula
Paralegal Association meets every second Tuesday of the month at Secret (formerly Sweet Madelines)
located at 12638-15 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News, Virginia, behind Hooters.
At most of our monthly dinner meetings,we enjoy a one-hour long presentation by a local attorney
or some other person in the legal field on a substantive law topic designed to enhance
our knowledge and skills. We have other meetings without speakers: our
annual business meeting and election of officers in April, our installation
of officers in May, our annual Paralegals' Week reception in October; and a
social function in December.
Dinner start at 6:00 p.m. and is $17 for VAPPA members, and $19 for non-members. Our speaker
usually begins at 7:00 p.m. and is followed by a business meeting.
