Meetings: VaPPA has monthly meetings where professionals in the legal field present programs specifically designed to enhance our knowledge and skills in substantive areas of law. Under the auspices of NALA, continuing education (CLE) credit for attendance is earned by those paralegals who attend the meetings. Currently meetings are conducted virtually.
Networking: Monthly dinner meetings provide an opportunity to network with other paralegals. Members also have access to the VaPPA Job Bank of local employment opportunities. The monthly dinner meetings have been suspended until further notice.
Seminars: VaPPA keeps members and guests up to date and aware of upcoming seminars held each year for a more extensive legal education.
CLA Certification Study Group: VaPPA, through its affiliation with NALA, will help gather and conduct a study group designed to guide paralegals toward CLA certification for any member who shows interests in furthering their education and professional development.
